Position:
This is a full time
volunteer position for one year starting September 1st
of 2008 and ending on August 31, 2009. In exchange
of your 1700 hours of service you will receive a living
stipend each month as well as a $4725 Education Award at
the completion of your required hours.
This is a rewarding and exciting opportunity for
anyone 17 yrs. of age and older. Help pay back
student loans or go back to school with your Education
Award and either get a degree or go for a higher
degree!
You will get to work in an exciting and
fast paced environment that will provide you with the
opportunities for not only running programs already in
place, but designing and implementing your own community
minded programs.

These positions have typically been
filled by seniors in high school and/or someone 17 yrs.
old and up. This is also a year long position
(with an extended 2 mos. this year) starting on July 1,
2008 and ending August 31, 2009. This position
requires the fullfillment of 300 hours of
service. In order, to complete these required
hours, you would need to commit to an average of 5 hours
a week. In exchange for these hours you
will receive a $1,000 Education Award at the end of your
service to be used for paying back student loans or
going back to school and either getting a degree or
going for a higher degree!
