Starting in the spring of each year, Pass It Along begins accepting applications for various AmeriCorps positions starting in the fall of that year. We currently offer full-time and half-time positions.

The full-time positions require a commitment of a minimum of 1700 hours and 12 months of service to our organization. In return, members receive a living allowance. At the completion of the term of service an education award of $4,725 is awarded for use in continuing education or for qualified student loan payoffs.

The half-time positions are a commitment of a minimum of 900 hours over a 12 month period and also receive a living allowance. The half-time education award is $2,362.

Citizen Action AmeriCorps is a program of Points of Light & Hands On Network. Through a grant from this organization, whom we are affiliated with, Pass It Along is able to build infrastructure and capacity. In this way, we are able to bring more programs to the community while at the same time create change on both a short-term and a long-term basis. Members support volunteer recruitment, training, and gain valuable leadership development through our program.
