Pass It Along Youth Volunteers
Est. 2001
A teenage led
initiative, Pass It Along's Youth Volunteers builds
leaders while serving the community in traditional and
non-traditional ways. The goal is to teach the students
about issues affecting the community and to provide a
forum where they can create and implement solutions.
Their ideas are used to create large scale events for
the community. These events include the Youth
Conference, Martin Luther King Day, and the Fun Night,
as well as participating in Pass It Along's calendar
programs. Current programs include the several
Tutoring Programs, Tilly's Kids, and Environmental
Team Works. In addition, at every meeting the teens have
an opportunity to work on service projects!
