Diane Taylor  

President & CEO

Diane is the Founder, President, & CEO of Pass It Along. Diane was inspired to start Pass It Along in 2001 after a group of neighborhood teenagers asked her to help them collect food for a local food pantry.  
Prior to founding Pass It Along, Diane was a physical education teacher, a program director at a large sports and fitness club, and owned and managed a tennis academy.  
Diane has received numerous awards for her service to the community including NJ Heroes, Atlantic Health Systems Empower Community Partner Award and E-Achievement presented by e-town & the Cargosy Foundation.  
Diane is the mother of four adult children, a sibling to seven brothers & sisters, and credits her passion for serving others to her parents.  Diane believes in living life to the fullest and daily seeks to help others reach their full potential.

Eleanor Young

Finance and Events Director

Joining the Pass it Along staff in January, 2012, Eleanor first began as lead volunteer in 2010 creating and directing the organization’s first triathlon event.   This event has grown to be PIA’s biggest and most successful fundraiser attracting participants throughout the entire tri-state area.  Eleanor is a Rutgers University, School of Business graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.   She has 12 years combined experience in the fields of accounting, audit and tax.   She is married, and raising two daughters in Sparta, New Jersey.

Kathy Rathbone 

Director of Annual Events and Clubs

Kathy left the corporate world and started to work with kids and teens in local schools with reading programs and leadership clubs.  Kathy transitioned from a long time volunteer with PIA to staff in May 2015. As part of her role she is developing toolkits for our clubs and enhancing the curriculum for our Discover Your Passion and Purpose program. In addition Kathy works with our teens in the Altitude Program, Service Corp and various Annual Service projects. 

Kailey Denzer-Weiler

Director of Programs

Kailey served as an AmeriCorps at Pass It Along from 2012-2013 where she solidified her passion for working in nonprofits and with teens.  After her year of service, she left to persue her Masters of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management while working as the Teen Leadership Coordinator at the Girl Scouts.  Now finished with her MPA, Kailey has returned to put it to work!  In addition to Programs, Kailey oversees marketing and the website.

Karen Monahan 

Program Manager

In November 2015 Karen became another volunteer who has transitioned into a staff member at Pass It Along. She is a licensed clinical social worker who has an active practice in Ogdensburg, NJ. With over 30 years experience in social services and networking Karen has the resources to further develop the sensitivity for mental health needs of teens in our communities as it relates to our programs. 

Anna Gundersen

Program Coordinator

Anna Gundersen joined the Pass It Along Team in September of 2016 as the Program Coordinator. Anna's first experience with volunteerism was with Pass It Along, while growing up in Sparta, NJ.   She has since been an active volunteer for The Four Diamond's Fund and The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.  Anna is a graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a minor in Business and the Liberal Arts.

Brittany Rockenfeller

Marketing Manager

Brittany joined Pass It Along in May of 2017 with a strong background in Nonprofit marketing and public relations. A 2016 graduate of Seton Hall University, Brittany is proud to bring her skills and passion for volunteerism back to the county she grew up in. Brittany has worked with organizations such as Atlantic Health System, the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and Children's Specialized Hospital.
