What is goLEAD?
goLEAD (generationOn Leadership, education, and Development program) is a youth leadership empowerment training program. With hands-on activities, goLEAD participants will become strong leaders who are aware of their own potential, communicate well, and know different leadership styles. They are prepared to lead and change the world around them using service-learning and will finish their time with a capstone service project they create together. Past capstone projects focused on topics such as homelessness awareness, environmental education, and low income youth. Participants work together to find what they are passionate about, and take their new leadership and teamwork skills to create a project on their own to impact their community. Once complete, participants will be eligible to apply for Service Corps.
Who can participate?
